Gridiron Queendom is the premier destination for women and girls around the world to play, or are fans of, American football.  Founded in 2013, Gridiron Queendom (GIQ) is the brainchild of Adrienne Smith, five-time member of the U.S. women’s national flag football team, a two-time member of the U.S. women’s national tackle football team, and four-time national champion with the Boston Renegades.  

 

Traveling the world playing flag and tackle football gave Adrienne insight into the depth and breadth of how much American football was embraced by women and girls worldwide.  As a result, Adrienne created GIQ to serve as a platform upon which the sisterhood of women and girls in football could flourish and grow.  Whether it is through offering recommendations for training and equipment, or connecting women and girls to football teams in their area, Gridiron Queendom aims to provide the knowledge, resources, and promotion needed to expand opportunities and normalize the success of women and girls in tackle and flag football.
