From Japan to Australia, or Finland to Spain, Gridiron Queendom is an international community that unifies female football devotees in a heretofore unprecedented manner. Women and girls from around the globe can share football strategies, training techniques, product recommendations, and a host of other insights and information, making Gridiron Queendom the conduit for reaching a burgeoning group of women and girls who are active, empowered, and increasing in number at double-digit percentage rates year after year.

Entrepreneur, athlete, and inspiration, Adrienne Smith is the future.

Adrienne began tackling her career as a translator, coordinator, educator, and TV host in Japan, followed by a MBA from Columbia Business School in Media & Entertainment and five years at Cablevision. Around the same time she began her illustrious football career, she also began Harlem Hip-Hop Tours, a pioneering force in edutainment centered around the unique history and culture of hip-hop in Harlem.

Adrienne started her football career in 2006 as a member of the New York Sharks, where she began receiving numerous accolades in the world of women’s football. Adrienne went on to compete internationally, bringing home silver in Sweden and Canada as a member of the U.S. women’s national flag football team. In 2010, Adrienne helped the US women’s tackle football team bring home gold in the International Federation of American Football’s Women’s World Championship – the first of its kind in the history of women’s sports. She did so again in Finland in 2013.

Adrienne currently plays for the Boston Renegades (formerly Boston Militia), with whom she won national championships in 2011 and 2014. In addition to her athletic career, Adrienne is in the process of developing multiple media projects including films and TV series.
